NYC holiday family photos are getting a whole new look this year, and I’ve been keeping this one close for months. Velvet Bleu is the name of this year’s holiday experience at the studio — dusty blue velvet meets deep wine, wax-sealed envelopes, and all the nostalgia of the holidays you remember from childhood. For the love of nostalgia — that’s the heart of it.

Introducing Velvet Bleu– Holiday Family Photos in NYC

Every year I design the holiday set from scratch, and this year I wanted it to feel like an old holiday card come to life. Soft blue velvet draped against rich burgundy, gold wax seals, letters from the North Pole — the kind of details that make you slow down. We’re finishing up the last of the details now, and I can tell you this set is unlike anything we’ve done before.

Two Ways to Book NYC Holiday Family Photos

Velvet Bleu will be offered in two ways this year, and both take place against the same beautiful set:

Holiday Sessions — Classic holiday portraits of your family, documented in the studio against the Velvet Bleu set. Perfect for holiday cards, framed prints, and the yearly tradition of watching your family grow.

The Santa Experience — Our most loved event of the year returns. A private, one-on-one visit with Santa himself, heirloom portraits of the whole thing, a letter from the North Pole mailed to your home, and a keepsake gift for your child from Santa. If you’ve been part of this before, you already know. If you haven’t — this is the one families come back for year after year.

Dates + Priority Booking

Sessions will run from mid-to-late October through mid-November, right in time for holiday cards. Exact dates are being finalized now.

Priority booking opens August 2nd — and I want to be honest with you: these sessions fill quickly and are usually sold out within the first 24 hours. The interest list gets first access before anything opens to the public.
