It’s a phase that passes quickly, and it deserves to be documented just as beautifully as newborn or first birthday.
This is one of my favorite stages to photograph.
At this age, everything starts to come alive.
They’re not just being held anymore—they’re engaging, reacting, connecting.
You’ll start to see:
their expressions and little personality traits
the way they sit, reach, and explore
those full baby cheeks and soft details before they change again
It’s one of the most joyful and expressive stages to photograph.

what makes sitter sessions so special
The ideal time is when your baby can sit confidently without support
(typically around 6–8 months).
I recommend reaching out once your baby is around 4–5 months so we can plan ahead and secure a date.
when to book
Your session will take place in my Flatiron studio or can be done in your home.
We’ll keep things relaxed and baby-led, allowing plenty of time for breaks, smiles, and those in-between moments.
A curated selection of baby wardrobe is available with soft, neutral pieces that photograph beautifully.
what to expect
We offer two approaches to newborn sessions, each with its own feel.
Both are designed with the same intention — to create images you’ll treasure for years to come.
Sessions are scheduled Monday through Friday, with flexible start times between 7:30 AM and 2:00 PM.
A more complete way to document this stage, including a handcrafted framed piece designed to live in your home.

30-45 minute session
5 digital images

Additional images may be added to any collection at $90 each.

where do sessions take place?
After your session, you’ll receive a proof gallery where you can view all your images and select your favorites.
From there, you can choose your collection and add any additional images if you’d like.
