We offer classic studio portrait sessions designed to feel simple, natural, and timeless.
Each session is created with the same intention — to photograph your baby or family in a way that feels clean, effortless, and true to you.
Sessions are scheduled Monday through Friday, with flexible start times between 7:30 AM and 2:00 PM.
Classic studio sessions are offered as a full experience.
Your session includes:
– timeless heirloom portraits on a clean white backdrop
– baby, child, or family portraits
– multiple looks if desired
– access to curated wardrobe (up to 18 months)
– guided direction throughout
– a calm, minimal studio environment
Sessions are designed to be simple and focused, allowing us to create a cohesive, timeless gallery.
The creative fee to reserve your session is $300.
After viewing your images, collections begin at $800.
Additional images may be added at $90 each.
All selected images are fully retouched and include both color and black & white versions.
Additional images may be added to any collection at $90 each.

Sessions are relaxed and guided, allowing time for breaks and natural moments. Some of the best images come from in-between moments.
what if my child isn’t cooperating?
Sessions take place in my Flatiron studio, designed with soft natural light and a clean, minimal aesthetic.
where do sessions take place?
Sessions are scheduled Monday through Friday only, with flexible start times throughout the day—we can begin as early as 7:30 AM to accommodate work or school schedules.

The studio is a lovely environment and Melissa and her assistant are warm, wonderful people. We felt comfortable and taken care of as soon as we arrived, and throughout the entire, seamless process. Our baby was a little fussy because the shoot was scheduled during her usual nap time, but despite that Melissa still managed to capture the most adorable shots of her (in the cutest little outfits that we borrowed from Melissa at her studio!) showcasing her personality at 6 months. Excited to receive our final edited photos!
