Central Park family photographer NYC — this session is exactly what that experience looks like. Cherry blossoms, a family of four, and one of the most beautiful spring mornings New York City has ever produced.

We timed it just right.

This family of four showed up to Central Park at the end of April, and I don’t think I stopped smiling the entire session.

The Setting: Central Park Family Photographer NYC in Full Bloom

There is honestly no better backdrop for family photos in New York City than Central Park during cherry blossom season.

The soft pink and white blossoms, the petals scattered across the ground like confetti, the dappled light filtering through the branches — it’s the kind of scene that makes even the most camera-shy families look like they belong on the pages of a magazine.

We wandered through a few different spots in the park to take full advantage of the blooms, and every single one was more beautiful than the last.

The Outfits: A Total Dream

Can we take a moment for the styling? Denim on denim on denim — mom in a classic jean jacket, little one in the cutest overalls, and big sister in a denim skirt with a heart pocket.

Dad rounded it out in light blue linen, and together they looked effortlessly put together against all those pink blossoms.

When a family nails their outfit coordination like this, the photos basically style themselves. And honestly, these will never go out of style.

Big Sister Energy

She was sunshine from start to finish. Spinning, laughing, clinging to mom and dad, holding her baby brother like the proudest big sister in all of New York City.

The sibling shots of these two sitting together in the petals? Stop everything. Those are going on a wall.

The Whole Family Together

And then when all four of them were together — laughing, spinning, dad tossing big sister up in the air — that’s when the magic really happened.

These are the photos that capture what this season of life actually feels like. Busy and beautiful and full and joyful.

Twenty years from now, this family is going to look back at these images and remember exactly how good this spring was.
