Updated to add: we have since used Melissa for an in studio session and outdoor mini session. Every time her professionalism and warmth blows us away. She feels like family. Ahead of the sessions she sends wardrobe ideas, FYIs, and every piece of information you might need - whenever I think I have a question for her one of her email communications comes through with the answer. She is so patient and loving with the children, and despite kids being kids she creates magic 100% of the time. My husband and I (and our family and friends) continue to be blown away. We are so grateful for the beautiful memories she captures for us!

From our first communication Melissa was warm and inviting and everything unfolded extremely smoothly - the systems she uses are very user friendly and make the process very easy (i.e. booking, payment, receiving the gallery, ordering photos). When she arrived at our home she came with everything (cake, decor, equipment, cake topper, 1st birthday hat, cake stand....) She and her assistant not only set everything up but immediately took to our daughter and treated her like their own - they were amazing! The pictures speak for themselves. We are absolutely clients for life. If you're on the fence about booking her please take this as your sign to do it, you will never regret it! Thank you, Melissa!!

We went to her studio, located in Flatiron, which was super comfortable and aesthetic. In addition to the outfits I brought for baby, she supplied a ton of adorable alternatives to switch it up. Melissa is literally a baby whisperer - my son immediately felt comfortable with her, let her feed him and then dozed off so she could take the most precious photographs that we will treasure forever. Also really appreciate her flexibility and understanding with scheduling the session as post-partum can be a crazy whirlwind! 10/10 recommend Melissa and intend on using her again in the future!
